Humanity First Canada
Humanity First Canada is a humanitarian organization based in the Greater Toronto Area, dedicated to serving global communities through disaster relief, food security, healthcare, shelter, and education programs. As part of their ongoing donor and public engagement efforts, I supported their marketing and communications initiatives through strategic design, storytelling, and brand-aligned visual communications.
My work focused on creating clear, empathetic, and mission-driven assets that educated audiences, strengthened donor trust, and elevated the organization’s visual identity across both print and digital platforms.

Event Branding & Promotional Materials
I created a variety of materials to support key organizational events, including one attended by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This included:
- Large format banners showcasing each Humanity First program
- Website banners promoting upcoming events
- Printed brochures and on-site informational materials
The goal was to create clear, visually consistent communication that elevated the event experience and helped educate donors, partners, and attendees about Humanity First’s mission and impact.
Annual Report
One of the most impactful pieces I worked on was Humanity First’s annual donor report. I led both the design and writing, focusing on clear reporting, strong storytelling, and visual structure.
The report balanced quantitative results such as metrics and financial breakdowns with human-focused stories that showed the real outcomes of the organization’s work. The final piece supported donor transparency and helped reinforce confidence and trust in the charity’s operations.
