Club 285 Condominiums & Café
Club 285 brings a new kind of living experience to North York’s Marlee neighbourhood. The goal was to create a brand that felt youthful, urban, and exciting, appealing to first-time buyers and young professionals looking for style, community, and a sense of belonging without leaving the city or stretching beyond reach.
The sales centre was designed as a speakeasy-style café with a hidden entrance leading guests into the presentation gallery. The concept sets the tone for the brand: social, unexpected, mysterious, and rooted in the idea of discovery. The lifestyle came first and the real estate followed, because Club 285 isn’t just a place to live, it’s a place to be part of.
I oversaw the creative direction and collaborated with consultants and internal teams to bring this vision to life across branding, marketing assets, and community-building campaigns. As a separate creative contribution, I also designed a large-scale mural for the café, reinforcing the visual identity and immersive brand experience.

The Vision
The goal was to establish a sense of exclusivity and anticipation for the area’s future growth. The café, which operates independently while the condo is set to launch soon, became a real-world expression of the brand—turning intrigue into engagement and profit.

My Role
I oversaw the design and coordination of all marketing and visual assets for the condominium, including branding, renderings, brochures, social media strategy, and photography. For the café, I collaborated on interior design, décor, and signage while creating a custom mural that translated the brand’s moody, sophisticated lifestyle imagery into an immersive experience. I also guided promotional campaigns and content strategy that increased visibility and engagement for the project.
The materials and content featured in this project are the property of West Side Square and Altree Developments and are displayed here solely for the purpose of demonstrating my contribution to the work.

Club 285 Café Mural
I created a mural for the Club 285 Café that brings the condominium brand to life within the physical space. The mural transforms the lifestyle photography developed for the brand into an abstract, immersive composition. Drawing on key elements like the mysterious black-and-white, grayscale aesthetic, it integrates the brand identity seamlessly into the café environment.
Placed strategically next to the bookcase that conceals the entrance to the presentation gallery, the mural not only complements the 1920s-inspired interior but also enhances the sense of discovery and intrigue. By translating the moody lifestyle imagery into a tactile, spatial experience, the mural reinforces the Club 285 brand and elevates the visitor experience.
